Gadget- Wikipedia Search
By: Melissa Davis For this assignment I chose to add the "Search Wikipedia" gadget to our bog on assistive technology. I chose this gadget because I thought it might be a good idea to give viewers the chance to look up or search for more information that they will read about in our blog. This provides readers the opportunity to gain more knowledge about different assistive technology softwares and devices, as well creating a way for them to interact with the blog. This gadget is also aesthetically pleasing to the rest of the blog. I played around with other gadgets before choosing this one. Some of them were either too small to be noticed, too big that they ran onto the rest of the page, or unclear as to their purpose. I liked the look of this search option and it also provides a chance to learn more about assistive technology.
